@J_cordz7+Third 3๏ธโฃ Update of the day ๐! I will be using club-scraps to share a #scrapbook link without posting on the Slack :slack: ! This is a super cool feature for clubs :hack-club: who have community members that arenโt active here, but want to share their work with everyone! I also did a better design on the :toitle: Procedural Art Workshop! And designed this awesome ๐ :tw_octopus: Octopus -Turtle ๐ข :tw_turtle: emoji based on Googleโs :google: stickers! Here it is: :octo-turtle::octo-turtle::octo-turtle:
@KrupeshVithlani-U035A4B6V470I have participated in Learn to Earn Google Cloud security challenge and I won this pretty goodies from Google cloud :catjam:
@J_cordz7+So recently I've been thinking on open source and projects abandonment, and the Google :google: Graveyard ๐ชฆ is a very good example of some of their projects that have been left. :dead: Also today I'm studying for my mid exams and working on projects! Here's an image of my scrapbook before this post. :hack-club: So the point of this is that I'm going to be looking for some abandoned projects that looks for help in order to make a small contribution and bring them back! Maybe with design or documentation while I get better at code! And lastly, I'm going to delete my Twitter Account :twitter: , I never got to really use it and I would like to avoid the toxicity and problems and better make a blog / part of my website where I post my ideas on things! ๐ก
@J_cordz7+So today I had a very interesting talk with friends about Chordates on #biology! ๐ชฒ I'm glad the channel is getting more active again! Also now that it's almost March I'm going to work on the Workshops Projects as I had planned before: I'm going to be making a newer version of the website workshop project ๐ธ๏ธ, which includes a small website for me, some things for friends and a cool website about dinosaurs that I will be hosting using dino.icu! :orpheus: ๐ฆ Also today I saw some cool fonts while using Google Fonts! :google: ๐๏ธ
@christina6950Day 2: Built a click function with JavaScript on my vacation website :laptop: that makes fun phrases pop up, and then searched google for functions I could use other than โclickโ โฆalso, went ziplining over the jungle! ๐
@micahlt0Started work on a web-based version of Google's new design language Material You since they're apparently too busy to build their own component library. Also using this to experiment with Vite instead of Webpack for Vue 3 (my framework of choice). Dang, it's fast :hyperfastparrot:
@heyrajan0I wanted to learn how to build my own search engine, but didn't like the speed of web scrapers and the deployment of most alternatives. When I came across the search API, it hit me: let's build Google with Google. Well, moogle to be precise :cow-face:
Using the Google Search API and a few hacky solutions, I just published the Custom Search Engine workshop!! vv excited to see what other hack clubbers make :hyperfastparrot:
The best part about this workshop is customization! if CSS is your jam, then this is perfect to make something that you love. i would love any feedback, or just to see what y'all come up with!!

Happy Hacking!

@taylorleehackclub0Mini ship! ๐ข Taught my first intro to UX workshop this past weekend
I was pretty nervous about hosting one but I am glad I fought the fear and slightly conquered impostor syndrome in a way :p
We had lots of fun in the process and vibed to DPR Live. The link to the presentation (removed speaker notes but dm me if you want to see it though)
@courtney0Getting ready to start on the website for my organization, because I don't need google sites anymore :cooll-thumbs:
@amy72960Just got official status for los-modded!
los-modded is an open source Android ROM based on LineageOS aiming to provide a high quality experience on Motorola devices, while following the guidelines from Google for Android devices as closely as possible. This results in a fluid experience on devices as low spec as my Moto g7 Play from 2019 with only 2GB ram and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 with Android 11
@ian4Adding Sign in with Google to my health{hacks} project using Firebase Auth!
@amy72960Working on my mirror bot for telegram. We got a successful upload to my team drive!

@harbar20210I created an API for myself that will get my current estimated blood glucose levels!
github.com/harbar20/bg
And no, you can't figure out what my current BG is. lol.
My plan is to create a Google Assistant command that'll tell me what my current BG is if I ask my Google Home.
@christina6950I keep notes in notepad as I learn, and tonight I cleaned them up and put them on a webpage, so I could play around w github pages. christinaasquith.com/practicepages I also fixed the dns configuration for my domain name by adding custom resource records, which iโm pretty happy about bc DNS on google domains is pretty confusing for beginners
@christina6950Built a birthday party invite website, and used GitHub and Google domains to configure the dns and get it online
@Odyssey3460Fuck Google. I have to pay 5 dollars to put out a fucking theme. This pisses me off to no end.
@Devnol0Set up Cloudflare Argo Tunnel so I can now ssh to my server without the need for a port forward or a direct IP exposure. Everything gets routed through cf and only the emails I whitelist can login with OTP, GitHub or Google
@fayd0๐ Hi.
I was getting bored so I speedran making a slackbot!
Built in 16.45.37 minutes, I present you @lmgtfy-slack!
If you're lazy to search something on google, this is just for you!
You can invoke the command by /lmgtfy [your search term] and it will return you the google search link for it!
That's all I have to say. lol, idk why I built it, funny.

@googol0The first website I made, from over 2 years ago, has now taken a life of its own. I think mainly because of its name, and an โad serviceโ I had set up, allowed the site to gain a good number of views and followers while I was away. NeoCities was a quirky community, and I do miss it a bit.
@tejasag0Totally didnt forget I have 5 projects due in 10 days and haven't started on any yet :smug:
~teacher didnt say anything about not using google, she said dont use chrome, i am using firefox~ ๐

@mikaeru0Well, i make a project and it need a storage. Vercel doesn't have one, and i can't access aws because my github pack request haven't granted yet. So, i found out IBM Cloud offer the free one, and i try to learn to use it now. After dive their s3 docs in a hour, my back hurts ๐ข . Well, my laptop is offline and here's the photo of IBM cloud logos on google image
@karolina0Day 6 - Worked on some Google SEO for my website! SEO still confuses me slightly, since my page shows up as the first result on Edge but all the way on the third page of Google results. The whole concept is very new to me, so I'm learning through trial and error.
I also finally got around to making a final commit of my completed (as of now) site - github.com/dubiels/personal-website:github:
My website is at www.karolina.mgdubiel.com - let me know if you have any suggestions for it! I'm hosting subdomains on it as well so that I can practice some other HTML concepts without wrecking the main page.
